Fear of ‘success’ - because who’s scared of making more money? 💰

Fear of success, what is it?

Sometimes people link it to earning more money... but everyone wants to earn more money, right? So in which case, what's actually going on?

💡 You see, it's often a cover for other things that we might be afraid of.

Us humans NEED to fit in to survive, and being 'successful' is one way that we might worry about being ostracised from a group. It might be that we'll be rejected, judged or that people simply won't understand our point of view and will turn against us.

More often than not, the pesky voice in your head that stops you *just* as you're on the verge of something good, will pop up and tell you not to do that thing because it's too unsafe/scary/uncertain.

If you're a changemaker, trying to push on spreading the word about the good work that you're doing... that can, in turn, stop you from showing up (think getting visible online, going to networking events and putting yourself up for public speaking opportunities).

And yet, without doing those things... people are never going to know about what you do!

So, how can you start taking steps towards overcoming that fear and getting visible?

You've got this 💪
